This year the City of Joburg marks its 130th year, and the Joburg Heritage Foundation is celebrating the occasion with a special once-off bus tour that encompasses the city's 13 decade history taking in various local landmarks that are significant to Joburg's social history. The tour focuses particularly on architecture covering the early mining years, the British colonial period, the 1930s Art Deco era and the post-war modernism of the 1940s and 1950s and ends with a look at the city's future as seen in the rapidly growing Sandton business district.<br /> <br /> Tour starts at 10:00 and lasts approximately 6 hours.
