Drawing from over 100 hours of never-before-seen footage that have been tucked away in the National Geographic archives for over 50 years, award-winning director Brett Morgen presents an unprecedented and intimate portrait of trailblazing conservationist Jane Goodall, an inspirational woman who challenged the male-dominated scientific consensus of her time and revolutionized our understanding of the natural world.

In 1960 aged 26 Goodall, with no university degree, scientific experience or training, set out to fulfil a lifelong dream of studying the behaviour of chimpanzees. Over time her ground-breaking research changed the way we think about our relation to primates and Goodall has since become one of the most famous scientists in the world.

Described by critics as one of the best documentaries of the year, this is essential viewing for anybody with an interest in wildlife and conservation.

All screenings of the film are free.
