Over forty years ago, Jack Ginsberg started collecting beautiful books about art and artists. His stunning book collection is now the largest of its kind in Africa and internationally renowned. Thanks to Ginsberg's generous donation, these books have now found a home in the Wits Art Museum’s newly-launched Jack Ginsberg Centre for the Book Arts which boasts over 3,000 artworks plus thousands of additional items related to the field of book arts.

The new centre celebrates its opening on Tuesday March 26 from 18:30.
