Marking Women's Month, Latitudes Centre for the Arts open their annual women's group exhibition, Steelwool and Other Paradoxes, which runs until October. Curated by Boitumelo Makousu and Denzo Nyathi, the purpose of this exhibition is to explore "the honesty of contradiction and nuance as it relates to womanhood" through the perspectives of established and emerging female artists. This group exhibition includes the work of artists Dimakatso Mathopa, Emma Coppola, Keabetswe Seema, Lerato Lodi, Lungile Ngcobo, Mary Sibande, Nadine Mathenjwa, Nandipha Mntambo, Olosa, Olwethu de Vos, Rirhandzu Makhubele, Sharlene Khan, and Tinyiko Makwakwa, celebrating women working in art, and inviting you to jon in a much-needed conversation about womanhood in South Africa, and across the globe.

Steelwool and Other Paradoxes is open from Wed, Aug 7 at 17:30 until Sun, Oct 6. RSVP at the link below to join the opening event. Viewings after the opening are by appointment only.
