Different art movements are united under the banner of Southern Soul, a group exhibition at Sandton's Artyli Gallery featuring works by Bambo SibiyaTreasure MlimaAndrew Ntshabele and more. If the role of the artist is to cultivate social awareness, this collection encapsulates that. The works speak to the politics of ideology and identity and the dynamics of power and protest and reflect on life in both urban and rural settings.
