This tender and captivating documentary trails the late South African photographer David Goldblatt as he travels around the country in his camper van capturing the essence and heartbreak of South Africa through his camera lens. One of South Africa's most influential photographers, Goldblatt's images of everyday life in the country both during apartheid and throughout the post-apartheid era have become iconic and through his role as a mentor he continued to actively promote and develop the careers of some of the country's important artists and photographers right up until his death in June 2018.
