The Garden of St. Christopher was originally a three acre estate in the middle of the upmarket Hyde Park suburb which has been steadily enlarged over the past decade. The Italiante-style gardens now extend to seven acres and are filled with rare indigenous flora, lovely water features and a striking Renaissance-inspired parterre and Pergola staircase enclosed by a grove of jacaranda trees.
The gardens open to public once a year in October for an annual charity fundraising event. Private visits for groups (minimum ten people) can also be arranged.
