It's spooky Friday the 13th, and by tradition whenever Friday falls on a 13th, The Bioscope independent cinema at 44 Stanley hosts a special screening of the classic horror film. If you are a horror movie fan then you will definitely want to geek up by watching the original film from 1980 that launched a whole slasher film genre and a popular franchise.

Setting the scene is a time-honoured horror film favourite. A group of good-looking teenagers are holed up at an abandoned summer camp which, of course, they were warned by sinister-looking locals to avoid. Then one by one, people go missing as a mysterious and vengeful killer stalks their remote camp in the woods. It makes for compulsive viewing.
