Femme Pétale Flower Farm
The idea for Femme Pétale was planted in 2019 when floral designer Teneale Coetzee realised she wanted to design with flowers she had farmed herself. In 2021, after a little trial and error, things started to bloom, and the farm has been growing ever since.
Femme Pétale has now blossomed into a haven that includes Open Farm Days when you can wander through the gardens and pick up to 30 stems. They also offer workshops, which include Field to Vase, where you will forage and arrange your flowers, and Bouquet Basics, where you'll learn the art of selecting and preparing flowers, understanding colour schemes, balance and proportion, and the overall insight into a well-crafted bouquet.
When you need to take a break, refreshments and cool drinks, seeds, dry flowers, bespoke items, and trinkets – floral themed of course – are available at the on-site shop. For heartier meals, there is a restaurant at the lodge.
Whether you want to pick some flowers, tap into your inner florist, or just take a moment to stop and smell the roses, Femme Pétale is the perfect floral sanctuary.
