Joburg's Fashion Kapitol, a downtown hub for upcoming fashion designers and students involved in the garment-making business, joins forces with the wider downtown Fashion District for this special spring fashion weekend, which is envisaged as a platform for young designers, models, stylists and photographers to find recognition in the city's fashion circles. The event includes a spring fashion show which promises to mix the traditional with the contemporary and the Saturday Fashion Market @ The Capital, where local designers will be selling their wares. Visitors can also expect a festive atmosphere with live music, poetry, dancers and a braai area.
