Fama Deli is a delicatessen with deep roots. It was founded in South Africa in 1987 by Roberto Sa Gimenez, a Spanish immigrant, who sold his shop to Nunu and Carla Fernandes who still run it today. 

They supply shops and restaurants but also sell the the public. For years they were based on 12 Viljoen Street in Lorentzville but located to Victoria Yards, just down the road, in 2024.  They sell cured meats like salami, chorizo, chistorra, and Serrano ham made in the Spanish style, as well as wine, coffee, and other deli items.
