To celebrate Gauteng's annual jacaranda blooming, each spring, Johannesburg In Your Pocket hosts an event series #JacarandaInYourPocket, which showcases the most beautiful time of year in Joburg, and this year is no different. Here's what you can look forward to for the #JacarandaInYourPocket 2024 series. Note: tickets are limited, so don't waste time and book right away. Here's what to expect:

Johannesburg In Your Pocket x Johannesburg Heritage Foundation (JHF) Rosebank Heritage Walk in collaboration with Rosebank Management District

Join previous #JacarandaInYourPocket winners, Clare Appleyard and Sarah Wilson, for an artistic guided photo walk and masterclass through Rosebank and Melrose. This 3km walk is perfect for all camera types (cameras with full manual control will have an advantage, and tripods are useful to bring along but not essential) with a focus on technical tips, composition, and capturing that perfect shot. Tale a social ride through the purple splendour of Joburg with Banditz Bicycle Club. This free social ride (booking is essential) will take you through the city's jacaranda-lined streets.
