Bird Bone Whistler is an exhibition by Doris Bloom in which she explores the places we inhabit, both their histories and the material things that occupy our lives today. This multi-media exhibition uses paintings, virtual reality and soundscapes to link and map body, language, memory and place. Bird Bone Whistler is showing alongside Origins Centre's exhibits around humankind's beginnings, and a fascinating dialogue between past and present is created as a result.

Exhibition opens Thu, May 4, at 18:00 with the performance Blank by Doris Bloom and an opening address by Curator Dr. Tammy Hodgskiss Reynard and Dr. Kirti Ranchod.
