Cinderella at Joburg Ballet

This classic rags-to-riches tale set to the music of classical Austrian composer Johann Strauss returns to the stage with glittering designs by leading South African set and costume designer Andrew Botha. Choreographed by Joburg Ballet's artistic director, Iain MacDonald, and given its world premiere in 2013, this production of Cinderella, will delight audiences of all ages.

The scene is set for a raucous afternoon or evening of family fun with the most fantastic costumes, elaborate larger-than-life sets, and a script filled with slapstick humour and witty wordplay that will delight families. Expect Cinderella performed by Shannon Glover, Nicole Ferreira-Dill, Monike Cristina, and Tammy Higgins. The Prince is played by Revil Yon, Armando Barros, Ruan Galdino, and Ivan Domiciano, and of course the charming mice that assist Cinderella in changing for the ball, and the fairy godmother who resembles an angel.
