The annual Christmas Village returns to Sandton City from December 10 to 22 with a festive, family-friendly shopping extravaganza. The Christmas Village features dozens of arts, crafts and gift stalls as well as food and drink vendors, all housed in cute custom-built wooden huts modelled after the stalls at central Europe's traditional festive markets. 

The market promises to be filled with all the sights, sounds and tastes of a traditional Christmas festival including  Christmas carols and lots of traditional Christmas treats such as indulgent koeksisters and toffee apples and plenty of gift shopping. This year the Christmas Village takes place in a dedicated section of road in front of the Rivonia Road entrance to the mall. Santa Claus will also be joining in and kids can get a picture with Santa and his helpers at the Christmas grotto.
