The inaugural Braamfontein Gin Festival brings some of the best in local craft gin and food trucks to this student suburb with a star-studded music lineup.<br /> <br /> Take in the hustle and bustle of Braamfontein, at one of Joburg’s longest bars (more than 14m) while sipping on a G&T and jamming to the sounds of award-winning South African rock band Desmond and the Tutus. Also on the line-up are indie pop rock band The Ceramics and indie folk band Sutherland.<br /> <br /> Included in the ticket is a meal from any of the food trucks, and five single gin and tonics. All food vendors have a regular cash menu, but drinks from the bar must be purchased with a token system. Get your tokens from either The Immigrant Bar, 86 Public or the Republic of 94.
