SAMA-nominated singer and guitarist Bongeziwe Mabandla comes to The Orbit for the first time in the wake of the release of his second album Mangaliso. The Eastern Cape-born singer is joined on stage by Golden Horn-nominated producer and musician Tiago Correia-Paolo (formerly of Tumi and the Volume and afro-alternative band 340ml) and Mike Wright (the drummer of alternative rock band Zebra and Giraffe).

Mabandla will perform favourites from his debut album Umlilo as well as new tracks from Mangaliso. Mangaliso marks the second phase in Mabandla’s musical journey. Meaning 'Miracle' in isiXhosa, Mabandla explains the album is about “yearning, searching and finally getting what you want, whether it’s freedom or love.”
