The Bassline Fest (formerly known as the Bassline Africa Day Concert) is always a major highlight of South Africa’s annual music festival calendar. This year the festival takes place in the heart of Joburg at Constitution Hill with a packed line-up of exciting local and international acts. 

In particular, look out for a performance by this year's headliners South African icon Thandiswa Mazwai and Zambia-born and Australia-based singer-songwriter Sampa The Great. Other acts on the Bassline Fest line-up include legendary South African rapper StogieT, Morena Leraba from Lesotho, vocalist LaliBoi,  Afropunk duo Ikati Esengxoweni, and poet and write Moonga K. from Botswana.
