A new initiative from Victoria Yards, Art Start is aimed at making art easy to collect and accessible, and features more than 100 artworks from participating artists, including Victoria Yards tenants. The best part is that all works are individually priced at R1,000 or less.

The art on sale includes works from established artists and newcomers with proceeds going towards Timbuktu in the Valley, an NPO that's a learning space and community centre for youth from Lorentzville, Bertrams, Bezuidenhout Valley and surrounding areas. This is part of Victoria Yard's fun First Sunday event, a regular monthly market and open studios day.
