Whether you've never been to AfrikaBurn before or you are a seasoned AfrikaBurn veteran, the annual Jozi Burners AfrikaBurn after-party is a night not to be missed. The Afterglow party takes place at The Prop House at the Skills Village in Bez Valley, undoubtedly one of the most unique party venues in the city. As the name suggests The Prop House is an unusual and creative space used primarily as a warehouse for stage and film props, which also boasts breathtaking city skyline views on the rooftop.

The party promises two dance floors, two bars and a chill lounge and throughout the night the free and alternative spirit of AfrikaBurn will be created in Joburg with installations, performances, music and some very creative costumes. Major DJs joining the party include Miteinander Musik’s Luke Redford, Jews for Techno, Tushimitsu from Mozambique, Ricky H from Cape Town and Mark Valsecchi.

AfrikaBurn is the African edition of America's famous Burning Man festival and takes place every autumn in the middle of the South African Tankwa Karoo desert. The Jozi Burners are a group of AfrikaBurn regulars from Joburg who organise parties in Joburg that encompass the spirit of AfrikaBurn and raise money for local charities. All proceeds from the Afterglow party go towards charitable community outreach projects including Home for Hope and Reimagine Project.
