A Blooming Affair Garden and Craft Market
Saturday Oct 5 09:00–16:00
Princess of Wales Terrace, Parktown
A great day out for families and friends alike, there is something for everyone at A Blooming Affair. You can wander through the gardens or browse the artisan stalls, buy bespoke, quality goods, handcrafted items or tasty treats, and enjoy the open air of a charitable craft market.
A Blooming Affair is part of Gardens of the Golden City, a wonderful initiative that invites the public to get behind our walls and fences to explore Joburg's best-kept gardening secrets while raising funds for various charities. You see, not only does A Blooming Affair celebrate the beauty of nature and the creativity of human hands, but proceeds go to the Roedean Academy – an initiative spearheaded by Roedean that aims to provide additional tuition for scholars from under-resourced schools.
Tickets are priced at R120 per person. R 75 for pensioners (60+ years) and children ages 6 – 18 years, children ages 5 years and under can enter for free, and a family combo (including 2 adults and 2 children) is R 350.
