An exhibition of ceramic works by Sbonelo Tau Luthuli the first graduate of The Arts and Ubuntu Trust talent programme which trains and offers support to talented young artists who may not have the financial means to pursue a career in the arts.

Luthuli's exhibition of intricately decorated ceramic pots is autobiographical with each individual item telling the story of one part of the artist's difficult life journey while also demonstrating his resilience to follow the path of an art education despite family resistance, financial constraints and heartbreak. The collection also draws on traditional practices, spiritual beliefs and local customs to present a very personal look at the life and inspiration of a young artist.

Opening event Wed, May 4 at 18:00.
The exhibition is held in the Women's Gaol building.
