Wits Art Museum presents Jaar&rsquo;s major video installation The Sound of Silence, created in response to South African journalist Kevin Carter&rsquo;s 1993 Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of a vulture watching a starving child in Sudan.&nbsp;<br /> <br /> This is one of two exhibitions that Chilean artist Alfredo Jaar is holding in Johannesburg this month, the second exhibition Am&iacute;lcar, Frantz, Patrice and the Others is showing at Goodman Gallery until Mar 23.
