Merry Ploughboy

Just 20mins south of the city centre is a must-see night of authentic traditional Irish music, singing and dancing regarded as one of the best around. The pub itself dates back to the 1780s and, uniquely, is owned and run by traditional musicians - the eponymous Merry Ploughboys whose performance tops and tails the 2hr show.
