One of the most beautiful little hidden corners on the Montenegrin coast, Žanjic is also one of our favourite spots to spend a day at the beach when staying in the area. Despite its remoteness - the drive from Herceg Novi around the bay and across Luštica will take around an hour and a half - it can still get quite crowded in the summertime, in part thanks to the regular water taxis that ferry beachgoers from the main piers in Herceg Novi and Igalo. The beach is lined with various local restaurants and cafes, but serious seafood aficionados will want to drop by the exquisite Ribarsko Selo, set along a secluded stretch of shore on the south of the bay.
