One of the true larger than life figures of the 20th century, Josip Broz, better known by his adopted moniker Tito, will forever be inseparably linked with the former state of Yugoslavia. Whether he was attending international conferences with world leaders or gallivanting around beaches and nightclubs with the likes of Sophia Loren, regardless of one's political leanings it's a fact that the Marshall knew how to have a good time. He also liked to keep luxurious residences in all of his favourite destinations around Yugoslavia, so naturally he had a villa in Herceg Novi. Located just off the beach and promenade in Igalo yet secluded by a small forest and gardens, Tito's Villa is open to the public during official tours that take place four times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) at 18:00. Constructed in 1976, the building and its interior is a fascinating time capsule of bygone era.
