Temppeliaukio Church, also known as the Rock Church, is an awe-inspiring Lutheran Church, built directly into solid rock in the Töölö district of Helsinki. Thanks to its unique and remarkable architecture (concrete beams, exposed rocks and copper dome,) the church is fascinating in its own right. The entire space is bathed in natural light pouring down from the copper-lined dome and giving you a warm, inspirational feeling. The acoustics here are amazing, so the church often hosts classical concerts. The entrance fee is €3, but opening times vary, so visit the official website for more information!
