Named after Finland’s greatest and most respected composer of all time Jean Sibelius, Sibelius Park is one of the major attractions in Helsinki. The leafy, seaside park represents the country’s rugged natural beauty with worn pathways, grassy areas, rocky outcrops, and tall birch trees providing plenty of shade. The Sibelius Monument was erected here in honour of the legendary Finnish composer. Embodying the spirit of Sibelius’ music, the monument is a kinetic, musical sculpture - a set of more than 600 steel tubes, which capture the wind like a pipe organ. You can see this genius work of art for free and take gorgeous Instagram photos!
