For finger-food that's longer than your fingers, visit the cute, narrow 'eel warehouse', serving home-smoked eels from Bad Zwischenahn. Waiters come round with a basket full of eels so you can take your pick of large or small specimens. Then you carefully strip the skin off with your fingers, and eat the fish meat accompanied by fresh black bread, and finally wash your hands with grain schnapps. Oyster, lobster and crayfish are also available.
