For some, Weeva might be a bit too corny. For others, like us, Weeva is like a long hot bath on a cold day. In fact, Weeva (Woon En Eethuis Voor Allen or An Eating and Sleeping Place for All) has been an institution in the city since 1871. Although attempts to change it over the past decades were unsuccessful, it's now back where it belongs, doing what it does best: serving Dutch-style meals for a cheap Dutch price. The chef follows the seasons, but throughout the year you can order regional products cooked to perfection. Don't expect any frills here but if you appreciate good food and great service, this is the place for you.
