Once upon a time this was a decent student fraternity. Luckily, it ditched its former name (Veri Et Recti Amici, meaning 'true and sincere friends') and is now the centre for underground pop culture in Groningen. From U2 and Nirvana to Sonic Youth and The White Stripes, the biggest names in pop and alternative music have all played here. You can expect a couple of concerts every week and a movie night is also a popular crowd pleaser as well as the Swingavond on Saturday evenings.
