'The Old Boathouse' (as the literally translated name sounds like of this bar) is located in a historical building where boats were send from to rescue seamen who had troubles out on the open water. Since 1832 many successful attempts have been made to bring these people on safe shores. Nowadays life is easier in this cosy bar, where its roaring history only comes alive due to its lively photos on the walls. Luckily, this is also a good place to listen to some live music or try one of the eight drafted beers. The bar food is good value for money, although it mainly serves well-known dishes like schnitzel, spare ribs and kebab. Although we seemed to be the only living souls to moan about this...
