Every pub in Groningen offers beer, but only one can call itself Groningen's best beer bar. Its drinks menu boasts no less than 200 different brews, many of which flow freely from the taps. Unfortunately, there are just too many to try in one go, but we certainly did our best. The relaxed staff, the varied clientele, the beers served in their own branded glasses and the music which isn't turned up too loud all make this an ideal place to sit and chat with friends. Hundreds of enamel beer platters adorn its walls, but whisky drinkers also have plenty to be happy about here and the attached terrace is real a crowd pleaser as well.
