Christinae Kyrka, a German church, is located in the heart of Gotenburg, on the canal, and very close to Gustaf Adolf's square. The church was inaugurated in 1748 with a total amount of as much as 42 bells, and named after Queen Kristina, daughter of Gustav II Adolf. On Sundays, the service is in German.
