You won't find a better location or better views anywhere on the Gold Coast than at Soul Surfers Paradise, as the hotel is situated in the 243m tall, 77-floor Soul building, just steps from the beach. Completed in 2012, it's the second tallest building in the city and the 13th in all of Australia. We love that all apartments boast ocean views, while those labelled as 'sky view' are located on the 40th floor or higher. If you'd really like to splash out there are several sub-penthouses, which go for a mere $1000+ per night, practically a steal considering that the private residence penthouse above was once the most expensive apartment ever sold in Australia. The hotel's facilities are just as lavish as you'd imagine, with landscaped gardens and glorious heated outdoor pool overlooking the beach.
