Since it opened in 2010, Daniel Ridgeway's Little Truffle has been at the forefront of the Gold Coast's burgeoning gourmet culinary scene. Officially billed as modern Australian with influences from France, Spain and Italy, a visit here has become something of a mandatory pilgrimage for visiting foodies. While the ambience is honestly a bit too elegant for our tastes, that doesn't stop us from booking a table whenever there's a special occasion or we're in need of impressing the missus. Ordering à la carte will put a sizeable dent in most wallets, including ours, but the three-course dinner menus are an affordable luxury at $59.
