There's usually no better endorsement of the quality of a restaurant serving foreign cuisine than seeing it patronised by people from that country (or region), and we've never been to Le Star and not heard the owner cheerfully chatting away in Arabic with other diners. While it's honestly not much to look at from the outside, it's the food itself that counts, and all of the various wraps, Lebanese mezze, grilled platters and traditional main dishes that we've tried here have been both tasty and fresh. What's more, the portions are huge and prices low, which is always a good combination. One thing to note if you're truly starving, it's a small family-run place, so at busier times you might have a bit of a wait for your food.
