<p>One of Australia's leading illusionists and comedy magicians, even if you're a magic sceptic (like we most definitely consider ourselves to be) Matt Hollywood's regularly held Illusions Magic Show is an entertaining way to spend a night out. It opens with a bang, both literally and figuratively, with a classic illusion and speakers blaring dance hits, and incorporates a little bit of something for the whole family, including a risqué joke or two for mom and dad that the younger kids in the crowd (hopefully) won't understand. Audience interaction features heavily in the performance, and while upgrading to the VIP seats in the first few rows can't guarantee that you'll get personally involved, from what we've seen at the shows we've attended the chances seem pretty good. In response to the the (rhetorical) <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsqJFIJ5lLs">question posited</a> by the legendary Maximus aka Russell Crowe aka the title character from <em>The Gladiator</em>: 'Yes, we are definitely entertained'! The magic happens at the Village Theatre in the charming Sanctuary Cove food and retail precinct, with lots of great (late) dinner options for after the show.</p>
