Undoubtedly the most popular Thai restaurant around, Chiangmai's list of awards, including multiple for the Best Thai Restaurant on the Gold Coast (most recently in 2016), is almost as long as their fantastic menu. The family-run operation first opened in 1993 and now has two locations, in Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise, both of which are completely decked out floor to ceiling in authentic décor from Thailand. We've heard some people question the authenticity of the cuisine, but the overall dining experience here is truly top notch. But if authenticity is your primary concern, you can always book an Air Asia flight to Bangkok.
