Anne Mulhern first opened the Willow Tea Rooms in 1983, with the Buchanan Street branch opening in 1997 and the Watt Brothers branch following in 2016. The Willow Tea Rooms are inspired by Kate Cranston who used the two famous designers Charles Rennie Mackintosh and George Walton for her tea room design. The Willow Tea Rooms provide a unique experience with various local baked goods and hot drinks. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available as well.
