Gaelic for ‘eat well’ Cail Bruich sits next door to the Brasserie at Òran Mór, at the corner of Great Western Road and Byres Road. Sleek décor, crisp white linen, low lighting and clean lines add an air of sophistication without making you feel you have to sit up straight and whisper. Whisky cured salmon, wood pigeon and roast loin of venison are all on offer while an interesting green ginger poached pear cleansed the palate with a zing.
