The Zekate family house was built in the early 1800s and is another excellent example of an original Ottoman-era family residence consisting of fortified lower floors topped with the living quarters and a large overhanging roof, propped up with poles to manage the weight of the stone tiles. Visitors can wander around the grand rooms with carved wooden ceilings and elegant fireplaces, and view the family quarters.
