Originally a hotel, the headquarters of Germany’s most popular television station is well worth a mention. The former lobby still includes an extremely rare paternoster (look it up) and much of the interior features original art including some wonderful stained glass and Cubist art. There are two working music and drama theatres too, both of which are open to the public. Guided tours in English are also available.
