The original Höchst Porcelain Factory only existed from 1746-1796, and shut down after financial problems and the French invasion of 1792. In 1971 the new porcelain factory resumed production, and in the nearby Dalberger House you can experience the entire process of porcelain-making process, from preparation of the porcelain to watching the elaborate hand-painting process. They also offer porcelain painting courses, have an extensive collection of porcelain and a shop.
