It might not be as massive as Maglić but Zelengora is a mountain that has well and truly stolen our hearts. This Dinaric delight stretches 2,014m into the air, hiding all manner of natural beauties within. There are seven glacial lakes along with one gorgeous artificial equivalent, as well as a veritable buffet of grassy plateaus and magnificent meadows. Has the wilderness ever been so marvellous? Modern civilisation has only flirted with Zelengora in conflict and exploration, so expect true natural beauty up here.
