The premier museum in Foča, the Museum of Old Herzegovina takes a deep dive into the history of the region from beginning to the current day. The history of Foča understandably takes centerstage, but there are plenty of other periods covered throughout its many rooms. The wars of the 20th century also get some attention, along with many ethnographic artefacts from the past to the present, and an exhibition dedicated to Dr. Risto Jeremić, the first domestic surgeon from Hercegovina.
