While objectively speaking there's not a whole lot to see here, the so-called Othello Tower is a requisite stop for any and all Shakespeare enthusiasts on a tour of Famagusta's old town - and situated just a football pitch length or so from the more famous Othello Castle, it'd be silly not to stop by even if you don't know your Moors from your Moops, right? Other than being able to re-enact a scene or two from the play for your social media feed, the tower's main draw is the panoramic views it offers over the city. Visit during one of those frequently colourful Cypriot sunsets and you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque beautifully silhouetted against a burning sky!
