At 251 m above sea level, sitting in perfect balance across the city from the castle, Arthur's Seat overlooks the city, river and seashore offering breathtaking views across the Lothians and giving Edinburgh its dramatic skyline. The Visitor Information Centre is located opposite the Holyrood House Palace. Snacks and souvenirs are available there as well as information about walking and biking trails as well as the history.
