After renovating this phenomenal location next to the remains of the 14th century St Orsula's Church, as of 2011 Dubrovnik has gained a new summer stage for this festival which hosts various Croatian and international musical performers throughout the summer. There is a gorgeous view overlooking the Old Town, all the way to Cavtat and the island of Lokrum from this amphitheatre which holds about 500 seats and is set on a 200 metre cliff above the sea. It is a 25 minute walk from the Old Town or short taxi ride. A perfect combination of location and excellent music puts this festival on everybody's to-do list!
