These lavish Georgian rooms provided the residential and public quarters for the Viceregal Court. As such, they were at the heart of Anglo Irish social life in the 18th & 19th Centuries. Today St Patrick's Hall, with its stunning painted ceiling, is the venue for Ireland's Presidencies of the EU, Presidential inaugurations and prestigious functions - it was here that President John F. Kennedy received an honourary doctorate. Queen Victoria, King George V and Margaret Thatcher have all overnighted in the Apartments' sumptuous bedrooms. Guided Tours available.
